Meet Sophie.
She's a Kiwi kid with a story to tell.
Her tale represents a slice of what we know about growing up in New Zealand today.
Most of her story has been derived from data and literature on Kiwi kids. Other parts have been inspired by interviews with parents, early childhood carers, teachers (at both urban and rural, primary and secondary schools), school students (teenagers), an oncology nurse, a social worker, a youth psychologist, and others.
